Pick your region on the Enshrouded page. Wait for a listing to open before trying to join; Coming soon does not mean your game or connection is broken.
Find and save the correct server
- Finish updating Enshrouded and read the listing’s name, access requirements and current connection details.
- Search the exact server name in the game’s server browser. If you need a favourite, get the listing’s current address and query port.
- In Steam, open View → Game Servers → Favorites, choose the add button, and enter that address and query port separated by a colon.
- Return to Enshrouded’s server list. Steam favourites should appear near the top; select the correct world and provide its password if one is required.
Those favourite-server steps come from Keen Games’ instructions. Use the actual query details on the chosen listing rather than guessing a port from another game.
Leave camp with a plan
- Choose food bonuses that suit your role and take supplies for the trip. Bandages heal over time, so leave room to recover instead of treating them as an instant rescue.
- Equip a glider or grappling hook after obtaining it. Carrying one in your inventory alone is not enough.
- Before entering the Shroud, identify your way back out. Watch the remaining time and turn around while you still have a margin.
- Agree on a short destination and a regroup point. Calling out that you are retreating is more useful than disappearing while the rest of the crew keeps fighting.

Understand shared-world progress
A character can move between servers with equipment, levels and skills, but world unlocks such as available crafting NPCs do not all travel with that character. Read the official character-transfer explanation and check Northern Fleet’s fresh-character rules before bringing an established character. Agree with your group before advancing major shared objectives.
If a familiar recipe is missing
First check that you joined the intended world. Then look for the relevant crafting NPC and station in that world; a character’s existing level does not guarantee that every world has the same facilities unlocked. Ask the group what it has rescued or built so far. This is especially helpful when moving between regional worlds with different progression. Treat the next shared unlock as a group objective instead of assuming your character is broken or immediately starting over.
