Use the in-game Server Manager for your chosen Satisfactory server. Our joining guide covers adding its address; this guide explains the access prompts that can follow.
Keep the server details together
Choose one regional listing and keep its name, host and port together. Use the host and game port for that listing from the current server details in this guide. Additional listings may use different details, so copy from the server you actually want.
Player access is separate from administration
A dedicated server can have a player password for joining and a separate administrator password for management. You only need the access staff provides for playing. The official wiki’s server-settings reference describes both passwords.
If you unexpectedly see a request to claim the server or set an administrator password, stop and tell the crew. Claiming is an initial administration operation, not a normal player signup step. The dedicated-server API documentation separates these privilege levels.
Read certificate prompts carefully
The game may ask you to trust a certificate when connecting to a dedicated server using a self-signed certificate. Check the server details and ask staff if an unexpected change appears; do not approve an unfamiliar host automatically. Certificate validation reference.
When you can see it but cannot join
- Confirm that you have selected the intended server and entered the player password supplied for it.
- Record the exact message and whether the failure happens before or after selecting Join.
- Check announcements for a restart, maintenance or a session still loading, then retry when staff confirms it is ready.
Still blocked? open a private support ticket with the server name, time and screenshot. Keep passwords out of the report.
